This course is designed to give an overview on color, how we perceive it, perceive it differently and how lighting can affect color. It goes into the function of rods and cones, color blindness, the various types of colorblindness and how it affects one's vision. In addition, it reviews occupations that may be affected by a lack of color perception and devices that are stated to assist in the perception of color.
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to: have a better understanding of how and why we see color differently from person to person; have a better understanding of how the rods and cones affect our ability to perceive color; know the causes of color blindness, how they see and the various types.
