Computer glasses aren’t just for desktop computers anymore. This course explains how older computer lens designs worked and how they evolved into the options available today. Blue-light protection is an important feature to include in all computer glasses today. We must educate our patients to determine which options will best fit their digital lifestyle.
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to: understand how the original computer lenses worked; verify and troubleshoot both older and newer computer lens designs; explain what blue light is, where is comes from, and how it effects our eyes and our bodies; recommend the best combination of lens options for a specific digital lifestyle.
